Customize the Welcome Email Sent to Members After Registration

Feature Availability: Customizing the Welcome Email is only available to Managed PLUS and Enterprise service packages and Abenity's legacy service package equivalents. You can verify your organization's service package within your Back Office.


Customizing the Welcome Email for your discount program brings your branding into the first communication members receive after their profile is registered in Abenity and it allows you to match the email to the wording you use to promote this benefit.


The Welcome Email is sent to Abenity members after they register in your discount program. Welcome Emails are sent to all members that self-register through Abenity's open registration method, and they can be triggered out to members registered via Abenity's member import or member API registration methods. You can learn more about registration methods here.


Multiple areas within the Welcome Email can be customized:

  • Email "From Name"  –  "Abenity Perks" is standard
  • Email Subject Line  –  "Your savings start today" is standard
  • Header Image  –  1,160px wide X 600px tall (avoid white backgrounds)
  • Opening Text  –  See image below
  • Closing Support Text  –  See image below


As seen in the image below, the email header image, the opening text, and the closing support text can all be customized. We ask that you leave the text and links in the red box as shown, as they help provide login information along with useful links to get started in the perks program.

Requested edits for your discount program's Welcome Email should be sent to the Abenity Client Team for implementation. Please contact your Abenity Client Specialist or email clientsupport@abenity.com for more information.
