Customize the Welcome Email Sent to Members After Registration

Feature Availability: Customizing the Welcome Email is only available to Managed PLUS and Enterprise service packages and Abenity's legacy service package equivalents. You can verify your organization's service package within your Back Office.

Customizing the Welcome Email for your discount program brings your branding into the first communication members receive after their profile is registered in Abenity and it allows you to match the email to the wording you use to promote this benefit.

Welcome Emails are sent to all members that self-register through Abenity's open registration method, and they can be triggered out to members registered via Abenity's member import or member API registration methods. You can learn more about registration methods here.


Requested edits for your discount program's Welcome Email should be sent to the Abenity Client Team for implementation. 

  1. Review the available customizations below.
  2. Download and fill in the customization request template available at the bottom of this Help Center article. 
  3. Send your customization request template directly to your Abenity Client Success Specialist or to
  4. Abenity's Client Team will implement your requested customizations and send a sample for your verification.

Seven Customizations within the Welcome Email:

  1. Subject Line - Default is “Welcome to [Client Name]’s [User Title] Perks” with Client Name and User Title coming from your Back Office settings
  2. From Name - Default is “Abenity Perks”
  3. Logo - Your company’s logo from the Back Office will be used automatically instead of Abenity’s logo
  4. Main Heading Text
    • Default is “[Client Name] [User Title] Perks” with Client Name and User Title coming from your Back Office settings
    • Text color is set using your Brand Color from your Back Office settings
  5. Banner Image
    • Width (Required): 1160px
    • Height (Recommended): 830px
  6. Content Block #1 - Character Limit: 1500 characters
  7. Content Block #2 
    • Default sign off includes your Client Name from your Back Office settings
    • Character Limit: 1500 characters
